The Blue Square Gentlemen?s Day at Sandown Park Racecourse takes place on Saturday 5th November, and a premier box package costs just £156.75 per head (based on 16 guests) promising a great day out for the boys, and a refreshing deflection from the inevitable ladies? events. Running for its second year, Gentlemen?s Day officially marks the start of the new jump season, and is presented in conjunction with Henry?s Opinion, the male style and grooming experts. We loved the in-house ?grooming stable? where the scruffier attendees can be transformed with a traditional wet shave, and there is also a fun casino and an impressive collection of the latest gadgets and gizzmos in the boys? toys section. Keen to reward those in possession of sartorial elegance there will be a prize for the best-dressed male, and music from rock and Indie tribute bands.
Gates open at 11.00am, and the last race takes place at 4.05pm, just allowing the ideal opportunity to make the simple journey to Aviator, looking immaculate and arriving just in time for pre-dinner drinks.
