We know all too well how stressful organising a wedding can be, so this month we are offering our tips on one of the key dilemmas, which sparkling wine to serve?

In recent years, it has become increasingly common for wedding parties to serve their guests a variety of styles of sparkling wine including, Prosecco, Cava or English Sparkling wine. However, for a special day you need a special wine and it is therefore no surprise that Champagne is still the most popular drink served at weddings. The ultimate celebratory drink, we believe our house Champagne offers the perfect balance of flavour, elegance and style to start your special day with a bang.

Veuve Clicquot Brut, instantly recognisable due to its distinctive yellow label, is one of the best loved Champagnes across the globe. The house was founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot, who quickly established a reputation for producing wines of superior quality. To this day, the team continue to work to the motto introduced by Philippe almost 250 years ago ? ?Only one quality ? the finest!?

In 1987, Veuve Clicquot was purchased by the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy group, re-affirming its position among world?s leading luxury brands. Yet despite the fact the house is no longer family-owned, the Veuve Clicquot team continue to work in the same manner they have for generations, focussing on excellence and ultimately ensuring that every single bottle matches up to their exacting quality standards.

The ?Yellow Label Brut? blend is dominated by Pinot Noir, which gives the Champagne its elegant structure. Around 30% Chardonnay adds elegance and sophistication to the blend, while the inclusion of 20% of Pinot Meunier helps to round out the palate ? ensuring that you always feel like going back for a second glass!

Santé!
