In the diary – Secret Restaurant

Following the recent success of Pret A Diner, Secret Restaurant is the latest performance dining experience that seems to be on everyone?s lips.

A collaboration between Secret Cinema, London?s pop-up film experience, and Michelin-starred restaurant St John, everything about Secret Restaurant screams mystery, from its secret location in central London to the mysterious narrative received from the point of booking and throughout the evening.

Guests are taken on a journey through a mysterious narrative that tells them what to wear and where to meet. Upon being guided to the secret London location by an actor, diners are told to ?tell no one? about the film being shown or the location, a motto that enriches the mystery of the theatrical dining experience.

Rumours are that the most recent Secret Restaurant experience was in the theme of a war-torn, 1940s Russia, where Russian-speaking actors were employed to serve a three course menu before a film, fitting with the Russian theme, was screened. Priced ambitiously at £56.50 per person for Secret Cinema ticket holders or £100 for Secret Restaurant guests only, Secret Restaurant is quickly becoming a community for those who enjoy the unknown.
