Alex Parsons at Sky Bar
On Friday 1 March, composer of music for a number of BAFTA award-winning films and documentaries, Alex Parsons, will deliver an exclusive set to a limited guest list of 100 at Sky Bar, marking Aviator?s first DJ Night of 2013.
Alex began his musical career at the age of four as a violinist and has since developed a panache that is both impressive and diverse. Having produced solo pieces for record labels such as Urbantorque, Brique Rouge and Aciitone, Alex?s DJ sets often vary from house, techno to disco and over time, Alex has also developed a loyal international following in the Electronic music scene.
Following completion of his Master?s degree in Composition, Alex has been working with a range of production companies and has scored a number of award-winning films and documentaries. His most recent productions, Stunted Trees and Broken Bridges, which toured the UK including three nights at London?s Royal Albert Hall, won prestigious BAFTA and Royal Television Society awards. Alex?s notable work doesn?t stop there. Last year, Alex also contributed his music to both the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympics.
To accompany Alex?s diversified set, Sky Bar?s resident mixologists will also be on hand to create their renowned assimilations of spirits and cocktails throughout the evening.
