Produced on our Berkshire doorstep by the Norbiton Fine Cheese Co, the award-winning Wigmore Sheep?s Cheese has an astringent citrus taste that brings a refreshing punch that is unusual amongst Sheep?s cheeses. The ideal complement to the explosive juiciness and earthy flavour of the stunning beetroots that are abundant in the English late summer and early autumn, these flavours marry perfectly to create a perfect light, seasonal starter.
Recently added to our new menu at the Brasserie, this salad is perfectly complimented by a glass of Chenin Blanc 2010, Cannonberg, South Africa (£20.45 per bottle).
